December 31, 2006
2005 has come and gone and 2006 is almost over. Our first year of practice is in the history books and we have so much to be thankful for. First and foremost are the clients we have made. The people we have had the chance to meet and the animals that they love have made our job so enjoyable. We have had huge highs that we relish. We have seen many great loved ones pass and they have all left such huge footprints on our hearts.

Our practice has seen some growth. We added a new indoor play area for the dogs. This area is also used at night for Crosspoint training to do group dog training classes. The cats have a brand new area all to themselves. This area is accented with a salt water aquarium that is just for them. All the boarders have the opportunity to have playtime, listen to music, and enjoy the fenced outdoors.

We also have added a second entrance that has more space and lots of fun retail items. You have to see the “dog strollers” to believe it. We also have a new exam room for people to sit and fill out paperwork without having to worry about their pets and who is around them. This also helps for our discharges and for any needed quite moments with clients.

We are proud to say our ‘open’ philosophy is still the standard. Sarah and I answer our own e-mail, are available for all the little questions, and get to see all the wonderful babies as they come and go. We proudly offer all clients to ask us their questions, come see when they have concerns, and always have the time to see anyone in and emergency situation.

Our three kids are getting older fast. Emma grace is in kindergarten, Jackson is in preschool, and Ava if finally talking. We can not thank everyone for the blessing that has been given to us through this hospital. We appreciate all everyone does for us and for their pets. We only hope to continue this bond we have created with our clients into 2007 and beyond.
