Spay / Cabarrus Spay/Neuter Clinic
This clinic was started by Dr. Jenny Artman and Dr. Mark McGeough with the unstoppable drive of the Cabarrus Humane Society. The cinic has done over 15,00 surgeries and has made a huge inpact on the region. We encourage responsible pet ownership and starting with spay/neuter is the best direction you can choose. We encourage all pet lovers to support this 501C3.
Birkdale Animal Hospital Kids triathlon Series
The Kids Triathlon Series has been our signature event for the year. It was created in 2007 by my wife and I and local triathlon trainer Kathy goodie. We had an idea to help the area youth stay active and also try something new. Since its creation it has grown to the largest kids triathlon series in the nation. We had 93 kids complete all four races this year to compete for the points championship. We have seen so many of the local youth succeed at the sport of triathlon and have been thrilled to be a part of it.
